It is the other way around. When there is no noise with i call it synthetic files like the PS3 menues and alike there is no need to investigate further. When playing a movie and you see differences it would mean the output of the decoded picture data would be changed by better calculations. Sounds at least strange to me. I doubt with this it is even more placebo as with several audible things. End of this discussion for me now, thanks.
