I have watched this. The bit about grounding the chassis not really
surprising, and the copper sheaths looked to be aiming to something
magnetic that the cable was radiating. But the suggestion that CDs
sound better if you let the machine read them twice should cause
concern.

There is lots of this sort of enthusiast material around. There are
also people who cover everything in tin foil or a sort of tape that
blocks radiation. 
Have you put a linear psu on your bridge, this would seem to be a
logical step if you are concerned about the switching noise from psus.
But does the bridge itself generate noise?
