I think the idea is the copper coupler can absorb the RFI. I tried it
on my HDTV and it does make a difference.

This coax cable also serves my cable STB for the TV and the MoCA data
also feeds a Western Digital Streaming Media Player so my wife can
watch Netflix on the HDTV. Pulling out the coax cable can mean safety
hazzard. :-)

One does run into strange and unbelievable claims in this hobby. Some
of the stuff does sound too crazy to even bother; e.g., reading CD
twice. I do think the bridge itself generates noises. But I would hate
to add more powerful gears as they can add even more noises. So I would
try the linear PSU for the bridge and add ferrite clamps on the Ethernet
cable.
