I think the idea is the copper coupler can absorb the RFI. I tried it on my HDTV and it does make a difference. Mnyb Wrote: > Is the coax cable drawn in conduits ? This coax cable also serves my cable STB for the TV and the MoCA data also feeds a Western Digital Streaming Media Player so my wife can watch Netflix on the HDTV. Pulling out the coax cable can mean safety hazzard. :-) adamdea Wrote: > I have watched this. One does run into strange and unbelievable claims in this hobby. Some of the stuff does sound too crazy to even bother; e.g., reading CD twice. I do think the bridge itself generates noises. But I would hate to add more powerful gears as they can add even more noises. So I would try the linear PSU for the bridge and add ferrite clamps on the Ethernet cable. -- vett93 Main system: Source: Transporter, modded by ModWright: http://www.modwright.com/modifications/transporter-truth-mods.php Preamp: Dude from Tube Research Labs: http://www.tuberesearchlabs.com/products/dude.html Amp: NP100 Platinum from AltaVista Audio: http://www.altavistaaudio.com/np100.html Speakers: Alto Utopia Be from Focal-JMLab: http://www.ultraaudio.com/equipment/focal_jmlab_alto_utopia.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ vett93's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13301 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93316
