+1 Optical is fine IMO ,async USB 2 is the latest fad , wonder when async hdmi interface is going to be the latest and greatest , but is the analog out that bad so a 30£ DAC would -improve- on that ? Suppose ,could there be really cheap bus powered USB DAC's if we aim for cheap that maybe something ? That would take down the cost ,not having a PSU .
