The main reason I protest so strenuously against using the opinions of high end audio reviewers is simply that these individuals have absolutely no authority and are basically shills for their advertisers. Case in point, their complete lack of understanding of the some of the most basic principles of digital technology as it relates to digital audio, the main one being that all properly functioning cables which meet the minimum required specifications "sound" the same. And by the way I do get tired of having to write this simple truth over and over. Or, in the case of TAS, their total lack of understanding that digital copies are PERFECT, even a 1,000,000th generation copy is a PERFECT copy of the original file. By the way, I do believe that some of editors and writers in these magazines do understand digital technology but telling the truth to their readers would upset their advertisers so they LIE. Now on the other hand this is public forum and as such I do not have please any advertisers, I only have to abide by the rules of the forum. And calling these high end reviewers clowns and liars does not violate those rules.
