This is precisely why I would like to see a comparison of the 103 vs. 105. There are a lot of people singing the praises of the "great" ESS Sabre32 DAC. I would guess the measured differences between the DAC stages are such that there should be little, if any, audible difference. That's not to say there is no difference but the differences would be subtle and minimal, at best.
