Exactly - and that's why I'm curious if a recognizably "bad" result of 5.3ns is correlated with sound quality at all!? What we see so much of these days is allegations of jitter causing this and that imperfection to sound quality but personally I have yet to put my finger on an actual problem using TosLink and knowingly worsening the jitter spectrum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archimago's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2207 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97950 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
