While I'm always willing to bash HDTracks any chance I get it must said that there are some worthwhile offerings to found on HDTracks. That doesn't excuse the high prices, the sub par customer support, lack of European availability and their less then diligent audio quality checking. The McCartney uncompressed files sound really sweet, as does the Crosby, Still & Nash self titled debut. For the money their asking all the recordings on HDTracks should be from first quality, uncompressed or barely compressed masters with full province clearly stated, i.e. source of master used, processor and software used, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97950 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
