There it is. You get the DR6 version on cd and realize it sounds as unpleasant as it can get. On some dedicated forum someone will claim the same shitty recording sounds so much better in HiRes because of less ringing, less phase errors or less distortion (non-issue nonsesne normaly). You buy this same shitty sound in HiRes now only to see you got ripped off whatever better sound that wacko reported. It is unpleasant DR6 sound in HiRes now :) The other way around is that you buy a HiRes version that indeed sounds different or even better. In that case you got ripped off for buying the cd because it was not taken care enough to make the best possible out of the cd version. After all i really don´t know if the industry is doing itself a favour with this Hires stuff. Me as customer became very cautious about every recording i buy meanwhile.
