Thank you Darren and Mnyb for those excellent responses. It seems that are many things about active versus passive speakers that I need to learn about but you have each my a very good starting point from which to continue my research. And I also thank you both for understanding that I was and am not trying to pick a fight but that I am only interested in learning more about this subject.
