Unless you bought the vinyl or ripped the LP, it's impossible to
experience these songs with anything but crappy headache-inducing
dynamic range from the CD. From what I can tell, it looks to me like
this is being done on purpose to tout LP just as much as engaging in the
loudness wars for radio supremacy.

Some people think this is a modern sound and that it is better to dynamically
compress music :(


I truly hope there are insightful folks in the music industry upset at
this situation and hope they're not all technological morons like when
Neil Young gets on his high horse about selling PONO with it's 24/192
music to "save the sound". That crazy old horse...

Since the people who are in control ie marketing managers etc do not
know or understand these things I sadly doubt it.

They are too busy blaming pirates/kids for killing music rather than their
own incompetence.
