I understand your point and don't necessarily disagree. Many (most) of my friends prefer the physical objects. But I've spent over 50 years reading physical books, handling physical vinyl records, reading news on newsprint, magazines on glossy paper, listening to only radio stations in my area, and doing research in dusty libraries. I now *much* prefer having my music digital, my books digital, my magazines digital, my newspapers digital, unlimited internet radio, and finding virtually everything I can find in any library in the country (that I need for my work) while sitting in my office in front of the computer. When I was a kid, I thought the future was going to be cool with all the gadgets (think "The Jetsons"). Turns out that the gadgets are different, but they did turn out to be really cool after all. ;-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=98603 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
