Cool I'm becoming more and more inclined to try genelec when my Meridian
gear gives up the ghost (but i still have a lot of years to go on them )

But on the topic I like the circle of confusion reasoning (I’ve heard it
before) even when presented with a neutral speaker of the best possible
design we might still not like what we hear due to varying recording
quality and mixes done in very non neutral settings .
Well balanced recordings comes first , you wonder on some albums.....
(not speaking of loudness war just the general balance etc ) .

There is a topic probably for another tread or another forum . Why have
not music studios mixing environment become more standardized ? Cinema I
think is way ahead they mix in theatres that have similar properties to
what audiences will hear and playback levels at the cinema is
standardized .
