I think I could reproduce your problem, or something like your problem. On my test machine with test-kernel without aufs, rosegarden shows an error dialog window, saying "rosegardensequencer crashed and caused SIGABORT". Closing similar dialog windows several times, rosegarden is up. Though I don't know how to operate it. Additionally the network(sis190) stopped. I don't know why. There MAY be some conflicts between sis190 and patch-2.6.29.4-rt19. The system is fine eccept the network. On the kernel with aufs, I could see some tasks entirely stopped around RT locks related to aufs. Finally here is a new patch for you. Revert the aufs2-rt13-29.3.patch and apply this. To be honest, I don't know how to support RT patches. In aufs1 era, I chose the 'compat_rw_semaphore' way which MAY lose the realtime-ness in aufs. By the aufs2-rt13-29.3.patch, I chose the 'RT rw_semaphore' way which MAY keep the realtime-ness in aufs. In both way, I am unsure. By reverting aufs2-rt13-29.3 and applying this new patch, aufs2 will take the 'compat_rw_semaphore' way. With this patch, I could see my test system runs well, except the known error dialog and network problems. And I will fix the "mount -f" messages in next Monday release. J. R. Okajima
