I am having issues where the underlying casper-rw file is corrupted on shutdown with 12.04 Ubuntu persistent USB image.
I believe the problem is that there is nothing to unmount /dev/loop1 (/cow). I'm guessing that first the aufs / must be un-mounted towards the end of the shutdown logic, but I'm not sure how you would actually unmount / Any ideas on how to go about fixing this?
