Does it mean these steps?
- put aufs_type.h for 3.9 (which for for 3.10.x systems) to ./tmp_inc
- specity CPPFLAGS="... -I ./tmp_inc"
- all other header files are used as is (under systems natural
  /usr/include)
- build and install aufs-util

If so, I think it is good and has no problem.
