Do you mean - by d.patch, drivers/block/loop.c surely contains pr_info() - but it doesn't print anything - pr_info() in other files prints something expectedly ? If so, there is a high possibility that you are using unpatched kernel (but patched aufs module), I am afraid. But I'd suggest you to check these issues. - where is your log file? the place might be different before/after mounting aufs. can it happen? - what is the log level? if the log level is set too low, pr_info() doesn't print. was it changed between before/after mounting aufs?
