Guan, I am trying to find common things between your mach-1 (where the bug occurs) and my setup. Also we should find different things between you mach-2 (without bug) and your mach-1/my setup (with bug). So, on mach-1 what folders do you mount as aufs branches? And do you mount same folders on mach-2? Not sure if this matters at all, but let's compare it too. Do you have same kernel modules loaded on mach-1 and mach-2? What Linux distro do you use? (I am running Gentoo) And as J. R. Okajima noted I am running system in Virtual Box, but this is just for testing - it is easier for me to test things in Virtual machine. I have real machines too and I can confirm the bug on at least one real machine as well (same config). In my case these are mounted with aufs (station is diskless - I use Squashfs as root image) /etc /home/user /var/lib /var/log /var/spool Also I collected some more data about my setup and it is available here: [1]http://pastebin.com/FUD8bAMa Also, I am wondering if should compare our kernel's .config files. -- Use GNU/Linux References 1. http://pastebin.com/FUD8bAMa
