J. R. Okajima:

   Guan, Nikolay,
Thank you for your repeating tests.
Here are refined ones, 3.12.x.patch and 3.14.patch.
   Please test.
   - kernel source
   - aufs source
   - this patch
Note: you need to revert tmpfs-idr.patch.

I guess this new patch will be applied cleanly hopefully.

   I tested 3.14.patch.
I got the kernel compilation error:
   Â CCÂ Â Â Â Â fs/proc/task_mmu.o
   fs/proc/task_mmu.c: In function 'show_map_vma':
fs/proc/task_mmu.c:277:4: error: implicit declaration of function
   'ipc_shm_id_or_ino' [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]
cc1: some warnings being treated as errors
   make[2]: *** [fs/proc/task_mmu.o] Error 1
   make[1]: *** [fs/proc] Error 2
   make: *** [fs] Error 2
So, as Guan said - I tried to include <linux/shm.h> to the task_mmu.c - and
   it worked.
There are no inodes related error messages while system is running.
One thing I noticed (not sure if it is related to our problem) - every time
I kill X server I get following error:
[Â 206.074567] mtrr: no MTRR for e0000000,8000000 found
Not that I am going to start and kill X server constantly, but may be this
can be useful for you to decide if this is a bug or not and should be looked
   into.
