Be very careful to chose a low noise stepdown converter if you want to use ACFT supply then. I was drastically reducing my comms radio receiver sensitivity when adjusting its squelch to reduce white noise generated by a cheap converter. Ended up going back to Borgelts original supply but increased the fuse size there first.
