My experience of FLARM has generally been OK with the exception of gliders approaching head-to-head. FLARM does not seem to pick these other gliders up anywhere near as well as for a glider which is more abeam or astern. Anecdotally, this got worse at some point with updates. Last week, I had two incidents of gliders approaching from head-on with perhaps 10 seconds of warning.
Do other people have this problem? Is the head-on range better with Powerflarm? D _______________________________________________ Aus-soaring mailing list [email protected] http://lists.base64.com.au/listinfo/aus-soaring
