The North Queensland Soaring Centre is a non profit GFA affiliated Gliding Club operating from Ayr Aerodrome, 80km south of Townsville, North Queensland. We fly Saturdays and alternate Sundays, with regular Gliding Camps to Charters Towers and Hughenden. We operate with winch launch. Visiting pilots/aircraft welcome! For confirmation on operating days, call us on Tel. 0500 811 011 (this is directly into our Pie Cart at the take-off point, when we are flying).
