I agree with you that there is no evidence that a medical is necessary for a
RPL. However, as I am a family doctor, I think all people should see their
family doctor at least once every two years for a routine check. A
declaration to that effect is probably all that is needed.

If you remember my previous posts: if a medical is deemed to be required by
the powers that be, a GP's certificate is all you need IMHO.
