Perhaps a law suit for damages done to the sport of gliding as 
a result of mis-information might sort their tardy ways out.
        Another solution is to vote with our feet.  We are the 
customers that the media sells it's product to. (If you can call it that)  If 
we all refused to watch "crap" news services on TV , refuse to 
buy"crap" newspapers and refuse to be influenced by the advertising 
that supports this media circus, then perhaps things will change.  I say 
be a descriminating receiver of information.  There are quality news 
delivery mediums out there.  Find them, use them and drive the junk 
out of the system!
        In other words WE, (the consumer of this crap media, financed 
by advertising products that WE buy) are to blame.

        Whew - Glad to get that off my chest.
