According to the flight manual (page 17)
:
"It is allowed to fly the aircraft only during the
day (and on condition the earth is
visible) = VFR and when no danger of icing exists.
Other kinds of flight are
forbidden.
Minimum demonstrated outside air temperature allowed
for take-off - 25.0 c
Maximum demonstrated outside air temperature allowed
for take-off + 35.0 c"
Does this mean what appears to be the
case, that take offs at OATs above 35C are not permitted?

Re: The Allegro 2000
100hp.
Hey there Michael,
One thing which keeps being asked
by my friends and members of the GC of which I am a member: How does the plane tow in marginal-poor conditions? ie:
really hot 35 - 40+ degrees.
I
took a look at the table which you have added to the allegro towing page - a
fully loaded blanik is climbing at 420 ft a minute, this is great, for an
aircraft of this size, price and power, but I get worried when thinking that
these quoted figures were from non-Australian conditions, especially when
reading the tiger moth tow stories from years previous, my mind flashes to the
6m trees at both ends of our home airport.
Your first aircraft is arriving this month? Will you be
doing the same kind of 'road-test' that we saw with the sinus which made a
point of talking about how the aircraft performed in northern Queensland where
the mercury regularly soars to over 35deg. (My mind thinks of Julia Creek
while writing this...) Is there any
more information about the tow testing available?
Cheers-
Ron

questions... again |
Further information.... We recently published
information on the Allegro 2000 Sport Plane and some towing details for towing
gliders.
I have requested additional information from the manufacturer
on actual performance as many of you requested, and we have updated the Towing
page on the website with actual performance figures for different gliders
being towed.
The additional information is in the table at the bottom
of the page
