I think it is just software in the existing Flight Management computers.
The problem is a little different to gliders as you need to cope with wind
chnages of over 200 knots possibly on the way down.
All doable but the crew will probably need to enter winds at certain
altitudes before descent and the weight of the aircraft etc.
