Ian Tait is also involved with this company and he was a gliding insurance broker as Minet Australia in the '70s or was it '80s. The other contact there is Chris Stainer. Also I know of person who had a claim with them and they were very prompt. Looking back over the past 40 years of gliding insurance we always do better when there is competition in insurance so maybe we should support both brokers . I can remember in late 60s when a Blanik was $5950 new and insurance was 12% or was it 13% for the hull!!!! let alone the the extras - the black old days. I have heard the minimum policy for say weeks public liability $550 and that is why a few people are staying away from comps. We can all get our greenslip car insurance for a year for half this amount if we shop around and it is refundable if you deregister.
