I understand that when logger trace download first started, there was discussion about the 'ownership' of individual pilot traces, and what distribution was appropriate (for on screen maggot racing for example). Some really serious pilots worried their intellectual advantage might become public property, and some up & coming pilots thought this would be a good thing (virtual coaching).
