We used to make turnpoint photos available publicly the next day by hanging

It is absolutely essential to make the logger traces public from any
contest so that they are subject to wide scrutiny otherwise someone will
find a way to cheat and the organisers won't necessarily pick it up. If you
were with someone who turned short and his logger trace showed he turned
with you, you would be suspicious, no?
Putting them on the net each day with a maggot race type program might
stimulate interest and even better would be an accompanying narration
pointing out highlights/points of interest. This needs to be done the
evening of the day flown to hold interest though, not weeks later.
