breach of the law like CAR 1988 reg 157 perhaps? (Or the GFA
equivalent):
The pilot in command of an aircraft must not fly the aircraft over:
- (a)
- any city, town or populous area at a height lower than 1,000 feet; or
- (b)
- any other area at a height lower than 500 feet.
You
would have a difficult task to persuade a court that a beat up was 'in the course of actually taking-off
or landing at an aerodrome; '
I
wonder how many of these 'Bold Pilots' will live to become 'Old
Pilots'

That's not quite the"consensus" that I came away with.
As I recall one discussion at Warwick, the general
feeling was that something along the same lines would be great, but
that we would need to make sure that the flying depicted was not in
breach of the law.
