Jeez Mike, do you have to be so jaundiced about *everything*?
It's the by far the biggest multi-class nationals field in years. Yes, it has lots of Qld and NSW pilots in there - but so what? If most Vic, SA and WA pilots don't want to travel the distance we can't make them (this is, after all, a large country).
The multi-class nationals have been dying, but thanks to some major efforts, this year they are flourishing again.
Yet you still complain? Could it be that you *want* the comp to die so that your pessimistic view about all organised gliding in Australia is validated?
