CASA Charges for holding a PPL $0 (medical every two years is about A$100)
CASA charges for owning and annually signing out a homebuilt as the builder $0
You need a maintenance release form which costs about $5 and can photocopy
that one.
There was a very reasonable CASA proposal for a Recreational Pilot's
licence which would have used holding a State Driver's licence as the
medical requirement.
The GFA and RAA killed that one. I'm sure they explained that fully to the
members.
