G'day All, Thanks for all the advice given on this subject, I will be interested to hear any more that comes our way as well. The weekend about to come is my last before George Lee's, so I'm keen to give them all a go - especially the 'Be Natural' bars (I hope my local woolworths stock them) and sports drink. I'm going to trade in my 2L cammelback for a big 4L one very soon...
Mike, As Rob Moore said in a previous e-mail, I too and the juniors would love this to be a part of our Junior Nationals. Each day were hoping to have a morning briefing on some aspect of XC performace by an experienced pilot. Then at the end of the day, have a group flight analysis and de-brief on the days flying. The British use this method and has been found to be very benificial - it also gets you psyced up for the day ahead or the following day! So if possible, it would be great to organise something with the AIS. Can you contact Bruce Taylor and CC myself and Rob into any e-mails re: the AIS @ JoeyGlide? SDF, A pee tube is on the 'definately need to do' list asap for me. I would go every 1/2hour in the flight - and I reckon I miss a good line or climb about twice or more a flight due to this. I'm thinking the catherters 'Irish Condom', although possibly uncomfortable, will work best. Just need to make sure I cover the 'old fella' up so it doesn't get sunburnt! *jokes* Allan, I'll start rewarding myself as you suggested, but try to keep it @ 40min intervals as you suggested. I will have to eat it slow, otherwise with the reclined seating position it may come back up again as it has done when I was a kid. Again, thanks all for your input. Would be great to put all this together and have it put into the AG. Will keep you informed on how the 'George Lee Experience' is going.
