Subject: [Aus-soaring] Help!
G'day All,
Dave is out bush this week and is unfortunately untouchable. Clive Bruce
of the UK was kind enough to lend his LS-8 to Dave for the 2 month period
while in the UK.
Clive has unfortunately given us only 3 days notice on arrival in Aus -
18th of Feb '06. He's hoping to do some gliding from 21st onwards to the
13th for memory. He's keen obviously for a weekday operation to do some
lesurely soaring, with a club that has bunkhouse facilities and preferably
a bar to tell lies at the end of the day.
Can anyone suggest any local clubs that may be in mid-week operation on
the above dates??
Where hoping to get in touch with Dave to see whether it's ok to fly XHC.
If its a no-goer (because uncontactable), does anyone know where we maybe
able to get a reasonable glider for Clive to fly? He has relatively low
hours, less than 200hrs.. He is also keen for some two-seater action..
Best Regards,
Adam Woolley and Paul Mander
