Re: Stalling and the AF Article.
It is a great article, and well explained no doubt, but we should remember that the critical angle for stalling is that between "the angle of attack" (stick position) and the "relative airflow". I suggest the discussion so far has concentrated on gliding - and the AF article concentrated on powered flight - but we should not overlook the fact that a Hornet fighter pilot may stall off a vertical (to the horizon) climb, if the critical angle (of attack) is reached. The issue in my mind is defining and explaining AofA and the Relative Airflow.
