Hi All, This year the Queensland Sports and 2 seater comps is being held at Dalby over the traditional Easter period which is practice day on Good Friday ( 6th of April ) to the following Saturday week which is the 14th of April. This gives 8 full days of fun comp flying. This time of the year can produce excellent days and Dalby is a good site to task from. The comps are an un ballasted, handicapped event so no water hassles. The comp is being run this year by the Boonah Gliding Centre which ran lasts years event at Chinchilla and did a good job. DDSC guys are also helping out so come along. Onsite camping is being made available, the local motels at this stage have rooms BUT the caravan parks are filling fast - do not delay if you intend to book a cabin or caravan! As is the norm for this comp costs are kept low so as to encourage all age groups. The two seater class is a great way to have clubs battle out this title as we have seen in the past and is a good opportunity to introduce up and coming pilots to comp flying. See you there.
