Hi Mal

The Jaycar camera weighs about 170 gms + wire and screen about 0.75 kgs - to
compensate (after removing one mirror - weight 1 kg)the pilot must consume
250 mls of water.
Cheers
Michael

The reduction in drag, saving in
fuel and increase in frequency of launches will pay for that in no time at
all.

What aboout the incraese in weight?

If you both had a flarm then you could re write the software to incorporate
towing then it could tell you or show the glider has released.

There would be no more need for mirrors less drag but would the weight of
the unit override the the lessened drag over the increased weight.

Or you put the tuggies on a diet to reduce weight to increase lift thus
reduce climb times mmm but then the tuggies may have more time to increase
weight.

Yes home sick and deliroius
