In my opinion, the head tracker style of device becomes annoying rather quickly when used with a normal screen. If combined with VR goggles it may be a useful option. I soon went back to look left/right on the buttons next to the top-hat. My greatest concern with the use of Condor as a training aid is that it encourages the user to develop tunnel vision and as a consequence poor lookout skills. This is not for the want of encouragement to "Lookout!" but more so an artifact of the limitations of the display setup. Being able to run slave screens on different video cards or linked PC's would also go some way to alleviating the problem as an alternative to VR goggles. Unfortunately the better resolution LCD goggles have remained expensive. The one company that was looking promising went from being run by engineers to being run by accountants and lawyers so that put an end to the product when they jacked the price in to the unobtainium zone. There are a few more candidates slated for release early this year. Meeting military contracts has put a strain on the market.
