What scares the hell out of me is that "some" power pilots have a look of
amazement on their dial when they are told that glider pilots do not "ensure"
separation via radio. They assume CTA rules apply everywhere. I think this is a
symtom of the training towards CPL and ATPL streight off the bat, cultural flaw
in basic training.
VFR rules are widely misunderstood. Airmanship is nearly non existant. Button
pushers, not pilots if you ask me.
