And this comes from the guy who flew 763.86km @ 129.64km/hr (OLC) on the
weekend! Nice flight Phil :)
Does that mean that all an LS8 would have to do is 132.46kmkm/hr over the same
task to beat you on handicap? What a joke, the LS8 (with the same pilot) will
win hands down on 90% of occasions! Thats a 8minute head start on the above
task.. madness!
But then again, Taylor almost proved us wrong @ the NSW states in the ASW-19,
against the best pilots in LS8's. When he or anyone wins 15m performance in a
LS1, Cirrus, ASW-19 or very simular - I'll no longer complain about handicaps!
I say: Keep handicaps while I can't afford the latest and greatest, and abolish
handicaps when I can!!! haha, thats a joke guys :)

P.s. Ooops, I just realised that the above is off the Club Class handicaps. But
still, the above is pretty close to the money I reckon :)

Handicaps are for mugs.
LS1 1.0
LS4 0.94
LS8 0.92
LS10 0.885
This suggests that the LS4 is 6% better than an LS1 but an 18m flapped LS10 is
only 5.5 % better than an LS4.
Another way to look at it that in a 3 hour race the LS 8 gives the LS4 3 min 36
sec head start.
What does this mean? I don't know but handicaps and common sense don't seem to
mesh in my mind.
