Well, yes, you're right:  A 10kt thermal blowing through the launchpoint
causes all the dead-tree gliders to end up on their backs with their legs
waving in the air like so many upturned cockroaches.  Immensely
pleasurable, in a way that a mere 9kt thermal can't possibly deliver.
