I have NEVER been given the opportunity to vote for our state
reps-only for my clubs SAGA rep, who then elects the state reps, so
simply this statement is incorrect- I have no control of the way my
clubs SAGA rep votes, I can tell him my thoughts but there is no
obligation for him to vote that way. Not democratic.
The Gliding Queensland constitution was changed 3 years ago to permit
the election of all elected officers (including the Board
representative) from the membership and not the club representatives.
