It is called projection. The people running
governments and their enforcers think everybody
is like them. Much of the population just wants
to get on with their own lives and not run
anybody else's life by holding guns to their
heads. Unfortunately there are monsters out
there and that's why we need police.

I was required to provide a police check for a
volunteer organisation recently. Interest died instantly.
My wife was also asked by an organisation she
has done voluntary work for, for many years. Instant resignation.
It really has begun to go too far when you feel
your reputation has to be impugned in areas where the risks are minimal.
No problems with it in a (very) few areas though.

Sorry Bernard, I'm not sufficiently interested
in this pc bullshit (good for beaurocrats and

the UK as an instructor and in the NT as a
