You just hit it on the head Gary. Good on ya.
In CASA i met a heap of very competent people who are very disillusioned. There
are a small minority of difficult people but the balance between the many
influencing factors is a slippery slope.
It would be grand to think that the people the system is being maintained for
would support and benefit ongoing improvement
but alas i am loath to suggest it is much easier to critique from a partially
informed perspective than to actually look at the broader view.
BTW, the ICAO audit is only the tip of the iceberg.
