what glider?  I am old fashioned but I like International reaction lacquer
(Azko Nobel also makers of US paints) -gliders were done 25+ years ago with
this paint and still perfect to this day.  Now days only available in 6
litre pack -importer is yacht paint Aust and their mark up is +50% (33%OFF
retail). There are also equivalent paints from yachting.  Many of european
makers use this paint.

Totally agree with weight before and after.
