what glider? I am old fashioned but I like International reaction lacquer (Azko Nobel also makers of US paints) -gliders were done 25+ years ago with this paint and still perfect to this day. Now days only available in 6 litre pack -importer is yacht paint Aust and their mark up is +50% (33%OFF retail). There are also equivalent paints from yachting. But what about refinishing painted wings? Is it necessary to remove all the old paint prior to repainting? Is it possible/desirable to, say apply filler over spar depressions/flat spots without removing the underlying paint? Why?
