I agree entirely and would add that the airspace should also be shared
with RC planes as well when ridge flying.

All that being said, it's extremely difficult to be in the same
airspace as something which, with reference to a sailplane, is almost
stationary. Same as cars and bicycles. It takes a lot of self control
and practice.

I've flow extensively in HGs and RC with PGs and I have to say I don't
like it at all! And I would add that the cowboys are not always the
people flying the slow planes.
