However when you buy aircraft wire from your local avionics shop or from Aircraft Spruce it is specified in gauge. Do use aircraft wire. It isn't expensive and is easy to get. Also use the correct type of crimp tool. There are two main types - the good one with the over centre action that does the proper crimp each time and the $5 version from SuperCrap Auto. Find somebody who can solder if you need anything soldered. The test is this - what type of temperature controlled iron do you have? If they don't know or ask what temperature control is they don't know how to solder.
