Go to any supplier of Aviation grade wire and ask for some 2.3mm wire.....

You will get a instant question fired at you, " What gauge is that mate"

In aviation AWG is the standard measurement .

I assume that when you say "guage" you are talking AWG.

Because now days wire is specified by cross section area I have put in a
