I will not go into full story but a friend had similar saga earlier this year after the Doctor ticked the wrong square saying he had 8 std drinks a day. Emails and faxes correcting error were sent by doctor but just got lost by CASA . He gave up on AV med section CASA and went straight to McCormick but he had a real advantage in that he signed his letter (not email) Dr Norman K Sanders, former Senator, Parliament of Australia. He then had a response in 4 days!!!! There are more stories of other people but they have not been successful with CASA yet and that was 12 months ago. .
If you want some interesting reading about CASA go to the current senate inquiry into CASA and ATSB and accidents. It took 4 Corners to kick start the inquiry. A very sad state of affairs and this is Australia.
